Regarding the value, the set of a turnout in railway lines contains a major part of the costs of each kilometer of railway track laying. Therefore, a great attention is paid to this part, and the safety of turnouts in the main and side tracks is one of the important factors in the safety of trains journey. Iran Railway Industries Development Company, in order to assist with Islamic Republic of Iran Railways in maintaining railway tracks after carrying out engineering studies and the necessary standards, created the capacity to repair the crossing part of turnouts and the related switches and stock rails, and carried out the repairments in a scientific and principled way, by means of the existing patents as standards.
