Minister of Roads and Urban Development Commends Mohammad Kalami; IRID’s Pivotal Role in Ardabil’s Rail Connectivity

The Minister of Roads and Urban Development has officially commended Mohammad Kalami, CEO of the Knowledge-Based Iranian Rail Industries Development (IRID) company, for his instrumental role in the execution of the Mianeh–Ardabil railway project, which successfully integrates the Ardabil province into the national railway network.

In a formal ceremony, the Honorable Minister Farzaneh Sadegh presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Mohammad Kalami. This recognition honors his leadership and the significant contributions made by IRID in implementing the Mianeh–Ardabil rail link, a project vital to connecting the region to the country’s comprehensive rail infrastructure.

In the commendation, Minister Sadegh highlighted that connecting Ardabil to the national railway network constitutes a strategic milestone in the development of Iran’s transportation infrastructure.
