IRID Reports Exceptional Growth at Fiscal Year 1404 Annual General Meeting: Accelerating Progress on the Path of Development

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Iran Rail Industries Development (IRID) for the fiscal year ending March 2026 was held with the participation of shareholders, the Board of Directors, and representatives from the Railway Staff Savings Fund. The meeting featured a comprehensive review of IRID’s outstanding performance in production, sales, and infrastructure development, culminating in the successful approval of the company’s audit report. Mohammad Kalami, CEO of IRID, outlined the strategic achievements of the past year, highlighting the upgrade of financial and accounting systems, cost management, and structural reforms as key milestones. He noted that a 75% reduction in industrial repair costs and the stabilization of employment status for all personnel underscore the success of IRID’s resource management and workforce development policies.

Leaps in Production and Industrial Infrastructure

Reporting on production milestones, the CEO announced a fourfold increase in rail turnout production and a twofold increase in screw manufacturing compared to the previous year. Additionally, 11 new products were designed and developed. Strategic investments were a core focus: a 50-billion Toman investment in the Forging production site—equipped with a 4,000-ton hydraulic press—and the acquisition of advanced CNC machinery and power infrastructure have significantly bolstered the company’s production capacity.

Financial Performance: 318% Growth in Net Profit

IRID demonstrated unprecedented commercial success, with sales volume for turnouts and rail components increasing by 434% and total sales value rising by 432%. Furthermore, the number of signed contracts grew by 50%, reflecting increased market share and customer trust. The company recorded a 318% growth in net profit and a 69% increase in gross profit compared to the previous fiscal year.

Human Capital and National Accolades

In human resources, IRID prioritized workforce stability by converting employment statuses, implementing job classification reviews, and achieving a 60% reduction in occupational accidents. IRID’s commitment to excellence was recognized on the national stage, earning the “Golden Statue” at the National Industry & Mining Day and the highest technological rating from the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy. Senior officials from the Railway Staff Savings Fund commended IRID’s current management, praising the company’s strategic transition toward sustainable growth, effective debt recovery, and its resolute focus on knowledge-based production.
