Strengthening Mutual Cooperation in Focus
During the meeting between the CEO of Tabriz Electricity Distribution Company and the CEO of the Iran Railway Industries Development Company (IRID), topics related to strengthening mutual cooperation between the two parties were discussed. This meeting was held with the aim of developing technical and operational collaborations in shared areas and leveraging existing capacities.
Akbar Farajnia, the CEO of Tabriz Electricity Distribution Company, congratulated Mohammad Kalami on his appointment as the CEO of IRID and emphasized the importance of expanding bilateral cooperation to improve service delivery and enhance energy infrastructure in the railway sector. He stated, “Collaboration between the energy and railway industries can lead to sustainable development and increased productivity in both fields. Tabriz Electricity Distribution Company is fully prepared to cooperate by offering innovative solutions and utilizing modern technologies to improve electricity infrastructure for railway projects.”
On the other hand, Mohammad Kalami, the CEO of IRID, expressed his gratitude for the goodwill and proposals presented by Tabriz Electricity Distribution Company and highlighted the necessity of strategic cooperation between the two companies. He added, “The railway industry in the country is undergoing transformation and development, and achieving the macro goals of this industry is not possible without collaboration with leading energy companies. We hope that through increased interaction, we will witness the realization of joint projects and the enhancement of service quality in the railway sector.”
This meeting marks an important step toward strengthening cross-sectoral interactions and optimizing the use of domestic capacities for the development of the country’s infrastructure.
