With a decree issued by the CEO of the PSRAI, Mohammad Kalami has been appointed as the CEO of IRID (Iran Rail Industries Development Company).

According to the public relations report of IRID, Dr. Sobhan Nazari, the CEO of the PSRAI, appointed Dr. Mohammad Kalami as the CEO and a board member of IRID through an official decree

Dr. Kalami holds a Ph.D. in International and Urban Economics from the University of Tabriz and is the author of five books on economic topics.

Among his professional experiences are serving as the Deputy Coordinator of Economic Affairs of the East Azerbaijan Province Governorate, a faculty member of Islamic Azad University, the General Director of the East Azerbaijan Province Relief Committee, the Cultural Manager of Islamic Azad University (Region 13), the Secretary of the World Carpet City, a board member of the Region One Technology Park, a member of the permanent commission of the Board of Trustees of Shahid Madani University of Azerbaijan, and membership in the Diyah Committee and the Association for the Support of Prisoners in the province.

This appointment aims to strengthen managerial capacities and advance the goals of IRID. It is hoped that, by leveraging his expertise and capabilities, effective steps will be taken toward the development and realization of the company’s programs.

The decree issued by the CEO of the PSRAI:

“Given your commitment, expertise, and experience, and in accordance with Article 110 of the amended Commercial Code, you are hereby appointed as the CEO and a board member of Iran Rail Industries Development Company for a period of two years. It is hoped that, with the help of the Almighty and through sincere intra-organizational and group cooperation, you will succeed in fulfilling your duties.”

Additionally, the efforts and contributions of Engineer Motaghipour, the former CEO of the company, were acknowledged and appreciated.
