IRID Stands with National Railways: Experts Mobilized to Rebuild Rail Infrastructure Following Aggression

The CEO of IRID has announced the full readiness of the company’s specialists to undertake the reconstruction of the nation’s rail infrastructure damaged by recent American-Zionist aggression.

According to the Public Relations Department of Iran Rail Industries Development (IRID), Mohammad Kalami highlighted the strategic significance of the rail industry in the nation’s economic and transportation development. Addressing the recent damage to the rail network, he stated: “Drawing upon indigenous expertise and extensive practical experience in designing and manufacturing rail equipment, IRID’s engineers and specialists are prepared to play a decisive role in the rapid restoration and support of the country’s rail infrastructure.” Mr. Kalami emphasized that over the past few years, IRID—as a knowledge-based enterprise—has focused on localizing advanced technologies and producing essential rail components. “We have developed significant technical capacity in design, manufacturing, and specialized maintenance,” he noted. “This capacity is now being deployed in collaboration with the Islamic Republic of Iran Railways (RAI) to rebuild the national network during this critical period.” The CEO of IRID further highlighted the commitment and sense of duty among the company’s workforce. He reaffirmed that IRID’s industrial infrastructure is fully mobilized to supply all necessary equipment, parts, and specialized components required to restore and strengthen the damaged lines. “Relying on domestic capabilities and the power of knowledge-based companies plays a pivotal role in enhancing the resilience of the country’s transportation infrastructure,” Kalami concluded. “By leveraging these domestic strengths, Iran’s rail industry is capable of restoring stability with speed and high-quality standards.
