According to the Public Relations Department of the Iran Rail Industries Development Company (IRID), Mohammad Kalami, CEO, met and held discussions with Dr. Jabbar Ali Zakeri, President of the Railways of the Islamic Republic of Iran (RAI)

During the meeting, the two sides discussed expanding mutual cooperation and developing rail projects.

Dr. Kalami emphasized the importance of Iride in improving rail services and increasing productivity in the country’s rail transportation industry, expressing the company’s readiness for any form of collaboration with the Railways of the Islamic Republic of Iran (RAI).

Dr. Zakeri appreciated IRID’s efforts in developing the country’s rail industries and noted that the Railways of the Islamic Republic of Iran (RAI) is prepared to expand its cooperation with IRID by utilizing existing capacities. He also stressed the necessity of using modern and up-to-date technologies in rail projects to achieve global standards in this field.

During the meeting, several topics related to IRID and the country’s railways were reviewed, and necessary directives were issued by the President of the (RAI) to further energize the company, including financing arrangements.
