Strategic Meeting Between CEOs of RAI and IRID: Synergy and Mission-Driven Management for Rail Network Development

In a strategic meeting between the CEO of the Islamic Republic of Iran Railways (RAI) and the CEO of Iran Rail Industries Development (IRID), both parties emphasized the necessity of synergy and mission-driven management to accelerate the development of the national rail network.
According to the Public Relations Department, Mohammad Kalami, CEO of IRID, met with Dr. Zakeri, Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development and CEO of RAI. During the session, Mr. Kalami praised the constructive measures taken by the railway leadership, particularly their mission-driven approach to rapidly reconstructing damaged rail lines and infrastructure. He stated, “The speed with which our rail arteries have been restored to service demonstrates the high capability and firm resolve within the top management of the nation’s railway sector.” Presenting a report on the latest localized technological advancements within IRID, Mr. Kalami added, “Relying on the expertise of our domestic specialists, IRID is fully prepared to provide comprehensive support for the country’s rail network.” Dr. Zakeri welcomed the continuous engagement with IRID and emphasized the need for sustained and vigorous execution of infrastructure development projects. Highlighting the importance of fostering confidence within the rail industry, the Deputy Minister stated, “Advancing high-level strategic railway goals requires the active participation of specialized knowledge-based companies. Constructive interaction with entities like IRID, and successfully delivering projects through indigenous capabilities, will instill a spirit of self-belief and optimism throughout the industry and society at large.” Dr. Zakeri concluded by noting that expanding strategic interactions between the railway administration and knowledge-based enterprises promises a brighter future for the nation’s rail transportation network.
