He added: Last year, the production project of the tongue rail was implemented with the cooperation of two companies, and the forge project will also be implemented from December of this year. The construction of the tongue forge press and equipment has been started with the cooperation of a knowledge-based company and has reached 80% physical progress and will be implemented by the end of December. This national project will be opened by December and will greatly help the domestic market. Another measure of the Iran Railway Industries Development Company is welding the rail to the crossing, which requires special technology and requires special knowledge and technology. Fortunately, this company was also successful in this field and was introduced as one of the innovative projects of the year 1400 in the whole country.

Bahrami stated: The development of domestic manufacturing has created direct and indirect employment, because this industry needs many contractors and suppliers. Obviously, with the development of domestic production, both the depth of knowledge of turnout production and future developments will be possible, and it will provide employment opportunities for young people and professionals in this field. Already, more than 50 companies cooperate with this company as contractors and suppliers.

The CEO of Iran Railway Industries Development Company emphasized: Fortunately, the company’s production and sales plan and budget were realized last year, but unfortunately, both last year and this year, we faced challenges that make it difficult to continue production. For example, most companies now use imported foreign parts, while domestic parts have sufficient standards. On the other hand, this issue has led to the entry of companies that lack after-sales service and warranty, while domestic companies provide both more optimal services and charge less from customers.

It should be noted that one of the most important problems of this company and similar companies is the lack of liquidity, which in the long run will disrupt the process of supplying materials and production parts. In addition, another problem of producers is related to the issue of illegal imports and lack of liquidity, which we hope will be resolved with the appropriate measures of the authorities.
